Another pair of feats is made in the spirit of the official Martial Adept feat. These are good ways of accessing these features without multiclassing, but they're also great options for their classes of origin. Just like a Battlemaster Fighter comfortable with their Ability Scores can gain additional superiority dice and Maneuvers with Martial Adept, a Warlock or Sorcerer can use Eldritch Adept or Metamagic Adept to focus even further on their magical calling.
In a similar vein, Tracker can give a character some Ranger-like abilities. Tandem Tactician can substitute a three-level dip into Mastermind Rogue or enhance a Mastermind's Master of Tactics ability even further, letting them use the Help action on up to four allies each turn. Shield Training is like Moderately Armored because it grants proficiency in shields and a physical Ability Score increase, but it's unique for allowing a shield to be used as a spellcasting focus , and making donning or doffing a shield faster.
It's a good choice for a caster with high Dexterity, Mage Armor and a hand often occupied by a weapon or other item. Gunner is campaign-dependent, since black powder is rare or absent in many fantasy settings, but it acts a bit like Crossbow Expert for the firearms in the Dungeon Master's Guide. It would be fearsome in the hands of a ranged Fighter, who could leverage the flintlock pistol's d10 damage die like some kind of renaissance gunslinger.
Finally, Artificer Adept is similar to Magic Initiate for granting Artificer spells and cantrips, but it's unique for granting the character proficiency in an Artisan's Tools.
Both were introduced with Monstrous Compendium Spelljammer Appendix. Autognomes, as the name suggests, are sentient robots created in the image of small humanoids. Giff, on the other hand, are massive bipedal hippopotami.
Those two races were introduced in Monstrous Compendium Spelljammer Appendix 2. If that same timeline holds true, we could see a new Spelljammer book by summer.
Hadozee are an apelike race with vestigial wings allowing them to float in the air, while plasmoids are an amorphous race not unlike giant amoeba. Both were introduced with Monstrous Compendium Spelljammer Appendix.
